The BATS GR-05 Ground Surveillance Radar is a powerful night and day sensor developed for border protection and other security

applications, detecting targets on ground surface with comprehensive geographical coverage.

The advanced radar will ensure initial detection, to be followed up by an electro-optics system.

The system is designed and constructed to withstand harshest weather and environmental conditions in accordance with military standards. Typical customers of this outstanding radar are military forces and border police forces.

The state-of-the-art GR-05 is a high resolution rotational Pulse-Doppler radar that operates in the upper "X" frequency band.

It consists of two printed-patch array antennas. The radar scans 360 degrees in azimuth and up to 10 degrees in elevation.

The GR-05's low power consumption and small volume enables deployment in almost any area, terrain and weather conditions, while featuring high MTBF (Mean Time Between Failures).

The radar is available in two different variants:

• GR-05 ER (extended range, human detection 10 km)
• GR-05 LR (long range, human detection 15 km).
