A reporter from the American television station 8ABCTulsa recorded last week, July 3th, how a drone almost collided with a police helicopter. The incident occurred during a procession honoring a killed police officer in the city of Tulsa, Oklahoma. It is still unclear whether the drone pilot was allowed to fly at all at the location in question.

The images show how the drone, probably a DJI Inspire, approaches the helicopter very close. Fortunately, the prop wash of the helicopter does not collide, because the drone is blown away.

According to the news channel 8ABCTulsa, it is still unclear whether the drone operator was authorized to fly at the location.

But anyway, the drone pilot should have swerved for the manned aircraft, in line with US drone regulations.
